Styling One Top Two Ways for Work

The response to the Gibson x International Women’s Day collaboration has been incredible! I’m so overwhelmed by your kind words on the launch of my top at Nordstrom. Today, I want to share how to style my blogger babe Roselyn’s top she designed. It’s a feminine blouse with a smock waist. I love the ruffles along the v-neck and darling buttons. Roselyn and I are wearing the lavender color but it also comes in a bright pink floral! What I love about the solid lavender is how it’s perfect for work. One thing I had in mind when designing my top is its versatility. Roselyn’s top is no exception and I want to share my tips for styling one top two ways for work.

How to Get Designer Bags at a Discount

Hello Everyone! Designer bags including Chanel, Dior, Givenchy and more always have such an elusive appeal. However, they can definitely be quite expensive, hence being a designer bag. This doesn’t mean they cannot be somewhat attainable though. Today, I want to share how to get designer bags at a discount. Rebag, formerly Trendlee, is a great place to shop for what I call pre-loved designer bags. I purchased my Chanel Boy bag pre-owned and it was a great way to save a lot of money. I can understand the worry behind whether a bag is authentic. That’s where Rebag shines.

Lavender Off-the-Shoulder Top for Spring + I’m 27!

I’m officially 27-years-old! Woo! My birthday was this past weekend and if you follow me on Instagram, you know the weather sucked, unbelievably. However, I took the stormy day to spend time indoors, relax a little and get a bunch of things done. It was actually quite nice since Johnny paid for me to get take out and I didn’t have to cook! The weather may have been gray but my mindset was and continues to be so sunny. A lot happened while I was 26. I was on an emotional roller coaster with my Dad’s traumatic brain injury and I had to go through a lot of emotional challenges. Honestly, many of them I didn’t think I would face until my 40’s. However, every bad moment makes me grateful for the good ones. I’m stronger physically, mentally and emotionally. I’m more passionate about what I do. I cannot wait to see what’s in store for 27!

Cold Weather Chic :: Velvet Pants for the Desk to Dinner

I hardly ever wear pants to work, but these navy velvet pants are making me rethink that. It’s no surprise velvet is still living out its moment. I love the lean silhouette of how these velvet pants are cut. There are off-seam pockets, which is a must-have for me. Plus, the way the pants are tailored looks and feels custom. I appreciate the contoured waistband, which helps with fit. I’m wearing a size 00 Petite and it actually runs just a dash big on me. Hence, my belt, which is also big for me, ha! There’s a little bit of smoke and mirrors going on here. Don’t worry, I plan on getting the belt fixed! I’m clearly having some petite girl struggles. While I’d normally consider an alternation job, I’m going to leave these pants alone since they aren’t that big on me.
