Our New Custom Velvet Dining Chairs with Interior Define

One of the things I was most excited about really moving in together was our own space. Working on it together, weekend home projects and finding out what we love. Before I even moved back home to Texas, I knew I wanted this dining table. The combination of marble, brass and clean lines draw me in every time I look at it. I’m partnering with Interior Define to share how we created these gorgeous custom dining chairs to perfectly complement our space. I could not be happier with how they turned out and they are so exquisite in person. Everything from the craftsmanship to the quality is impeccable. I didn’t think getting custom dining chairs would be possible for us, but Interior Define made it happen.

Visiting Texas Tulips :: What You Need to Know

Even though I was born and raised in Texas, being away for more than five years makes me feel like I’m discovering new places to see and visit all the time. One of those places is Texas Tulips, nestled in Pilot Point, about an hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Every year, this family-owned business opens up their tulip farm to the public and allow you to pick your own tulip stems. There are gorgeous and vibrant rows of Tulips in so many colors. If you are in the Dallas-area, I could not recommend a visit more! Johnny and I made the mini-trek in late March. Here’s what you need to know if you plan on making a visit.

Yellow Tiered Maxi Dress :: Comfy Style for Spring & Summer

Style is great but comfort plays a big role in the pieces I select. Unless it’s for a special occasion, I want to be comfortable in the clothes I wear because that makes me feel confident. This yellow tiered maxi dress is exactly that. Made of a super soft, stretchy jersey, this dress almost feels like I’m wearing pajamas! It’s truly so easy to throw on and walk out the door in. I’m wearing size Petite XXS and as you can tell, it’s perfect for petite ladies. I’m 5’3 for reference and the length hits right above my ankle. The straps are also adjustable, which makes it easy to find the perfect fit. I’m quite partial to this yellow tiered maxi dress but it also comes in a beautiful blue stripe, too.

Floral Cami & Tie-Waist Pants :: Spring Work Wear

Lavender and lilac are still some of my favorite colors to wear this spring. If these pants look familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them multiple times before here. These pants are so easy to style multiple ways. The feminine bow and classic shape really make these pants a go-to for me. I love a good spring workwear look now that it’s finally warmer. I’m a firm believer in buying clothes you can wear multiple times as opposed to buying something of lower quality to wear once and throw away.

5 Major Takeaways from the rewardStyle Conference

Every year, the rewardStyle Conference brings together top-performing bloggers for a weekend of networking, education and, of course, some fun. I’ve been blogging with rewardStyle for years but it took me a few years to get invited to rStheCon. I will say, when I really started focusing more on my blog and applying the tips my rewardStyle representative gave me, I started seeing results. I’m proud to say this was my second year attending! For those who aren’t bloggers, the rewardStyle Conference might be a little confusing. However, if you follow more than one blogger, chances are you’ll see at least a couple of them post about it. For more about what the conference is, head to my post from last year. I really break down what the rStheCon is and explain more about the blogging industry.
