Floral Cami & Tie-Waist Pants :: Spring Work Wear

Lavender and lilac are still some of my favorite colors to wear this spring. If these pants look familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them multiple times before here. These pants are so easy to style multiple ways. The feminine bow and classic shape really make these pants a go-to for me. I love a good spring workwear look now that it’s finally warmer. I’m a firm believer in buying clothes you can wear multiple times as opposed to buying something of lower quality to wear once and throw away.

The Dressy Jumpsuit You Can Wear Anywhere

When I need to feel confident, I love putting on a great jumpsuit. This pink dressy jumpsuit with pearl details is no exception. One reason I love this dressy jumpsuit so much is how versatile it is. You truly can wear it anywhere and I’ve really relied on it for the past couple of trips I’ve gone on. The chic and elegant silhouette makes this pearl trim jumpsuit a go-to for work, perfect for wearing to weddings yet effortless enough to wear casually. The pearl trim on this dressy jumpsuit truly makes it unique. It’s such a classy and feminine touch and I find myself reaching for this jumpsuit often. Plus, the pockets really take it up a notch since they are a good size and well done!

Picturesque Cherry Blossoms in D.C. & a Mint Green Suit

In early April, more than 1.5 million tourists make their way to see the picturesque cherry blossoms in D.C. and take photos. The main goal is to witness what’s known as the peak bloom of about 3,000 cherry trees. It’s a spectacular sight and the National Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates the gift of friendship to the United States from the people of Japan. The Sakura truly transforms the area into a romantic, whimsical place. While my sister and I missed the peak bloom by a day or two, there are still stunning blooms all over our Nation’s Capitol. The time these exquisite flowers bloom changes every year, so there isn’t a set time. There are estimates but the weather is unpredictable and changes every minute. Check back soon for a more in-depth travel guide to seeing cherry blossoms in D.C.

Styling One Top Two Ways for Work

The response to the Gibson x International Women’s Day collaboration has been incredible! I’m so overwhelmed by your kind words on the launch of my top at Nordstrom. Today, I want to share how to style my blogger babe Roselyn’s top she designed. It’s a feminine blouse with a smock waist. I love the ruffles along the v-neck and darling buttons. Roselyn and I are wearing the lavender color but it also comes in a bright pink floral! What I love about the solid lavender is how it’s perfect for work. One thing I had in mind when designing my top is its versatility. Roselyn’s top is no exception and I want to share my tips for styling one top two ways for work.

Spring Workwear Pieces I’m Lusting After

As the weather starts to get warmer and the days get a little bit longer, I feel like spring is really just right around the corner. We got a small dose of spring weather and now I’m lusting after spring like never before. I want to share some spring workwear pieces I’m lusting after and most of them are on sale. A majority of these are classic and feminine pieces you can restyle and wear over and over. I’m a big advocate of creating a wardrobe where you have endless styling possibilities. Many of us don’t have time in the morning to really “style” an outfit and spend time figuring out if this works with that. You want to be able to grab something, put it on, get ready and walk out the door feeling confident.
