The Perfume I’ve Worn for Years & Gifts with Purchase

Perfume has always been a constant in my life since I was a young teenager. I don’t really explore a lot. I’ve worn maybe four or five different perfumes since then. Once I find a scent I love, I stick with it, regardless of whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter. Today, I want to share the perfume I’ve worn for years. Jo Malone’s Peony & Blush Suede is probably one of my favorite scents of all time. It’s floral, slightly fruity and isn’t overwhelming. Plus, the scent actually lasts all day. Sometimes, I’ll spritz it on a sweater, wear the sweater for a few hours, hang it up in my closet, then a few days later when I pull it out the scent is still there.

Five Things to Do in Provincetown, Massachusetts

Hello from New England! I’m beyond thrilled to be embarking on a fall foliage cruise with Seabourn for 11 days. The cruise goes up New England and into Canada. I’m hoping to see some gorgeous leaves and experience some crisp weather. This is my first cruise experience and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be on this trip with Haley of Ready Set Jet Set. All of the photos you’ll see on this trip will be taken by her and I know they’ll be beautiful and so scenic! I’ll have more about the actual cruise ship and experience onboard in a future post but wanted to share about our first port stop.  In this post, I’m excited to share five things to do in Provincetown, Massachusetts. It’s a quaint town and even though we were only there for a few hours, it was a fun experience and I can see why so many people love to summer there!

Four Fall Dresses I’m Loving

Over the past few years, my love for maxi dresses has grown tremendously. I love how comfortable and easy they are to wear and when fall rolls around, the longer length is perfect for cooler temperatures. This Gibson wildflower maxi dress, which is the perfect blend of cheetah and floral prints, is one of my top-sellers! One reason I love it for fall is how versatile it is. Wear casually with flats or dress it up and wear on dinner dates or out with friends. It also comes in a beautiful burgundy print along with solid black. I’m pairing this maxi dress with booties for fall but it would look just as good with heels or even flats. Per usual with Gibson, I’m wearing size Petite XXS, which fits perfectly without alterations. The sleeves and high neck make this maxi dress perfect for wearing from summer to fall.

The Best Undergarments For No Lines

I love wearing white. It’s fresh, easy to style and classic. However, wearing white can be tricky unless you have the right underwear. I’ve been getting lots of questions on what underwear I use and I’m excited to share my seamless secrets with y’all! I will admit, I’m boring and basic. I believe in nude seamless underwear because it goes under everything and is easy to take care of. Get a dozen or so pairs and you’re set, whether you’re dressing for the office, dinner or a night out. I don’t like to waste time trying to find the right pair of underwear. I want to spend that time living life or actually picking out my outfit. So grab a cup of coffee or tea because I’m about to divulge the best undergarments, including underwear, bras and more!

Fall Kitchen Decor

September is one of my favorite months of the year. It’s when things finally start transitioning toward fall. The weather gets a little cooler and leaves start changing color. September also marks when I start decorating for fall and whipping out harvest decor. I get our fall decor from a variety of places including HomeGoods and Kirkland’s. Of course, keep your eyes peeled for local businesses, too! Pumpkin patches are not open in the Dallas area yet, so we are waiting to get real pumpkins to add to our decor! Plus, this weekend, Kirkland’s is having a 30% off sale sitewide when you use code “DECORATE” so it’s the perfect time to stock up! I picked up a few pieces from there earlier this week.
