While Johnny and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, I still get excited about it. I enjoy getting in the spirit by wearing plenty of reds and pinks. This red faux fur jacket adds instant glam factor and makes almost every outfit chic. Styling faux fur jackets can be a little difficult. You don’t want to look too over the top, or at least I don’t. To make sure the faux jur jacket is the statement piece, I’m choosing casual pieces everywhere else. A simple pink sweater underneath keeps my body heat close and blocks out the cold. To keep the look more casual, I’m going with gray jeans. These are extremely soft, stretchy and comfortable to wear. Plus, I love the story behind this brand, but more on that in another post. My favorite over the knee boots in light gray makes this outfit cohesive.
Another great way to style this red faux fur jacket is with a top (love this one & this one) with black bottoms. This would be a great date night look for Valentine’s Day, especially if temperatures are colder. You can always pair this faux fur jacket over a dress, too. This jacket isn’t just for Valentine’s Day, though. Keep it as a statement piece that’ll be perfect for the holidays. If you like, you can rent this jacket here for a special occasion.
A few details about this jacket: The material is oh so soft. Plus, this jacket comes with a hidden hook and eye closure. Petite girls will love this because it has a cropped silhouette. This ends up being more “normal” for petite gals, however. The hem of this jacket hits right above my hipline.
