Hello My Beautiful Friends!
I’m sharing a feminine take on the classic leather jacket. This MINKPINK blush leather jacket is a statement piece itself and pairs beautifully with so many items. While a black leather jacket provides an instant cool factor, the dark color can be hard to pair with lighter colors. That’s where a blush leather jacket swoops in. The detailing on the shoulders add a nice touch. This jacket has zip pockets and can zip up nicely. The XS fits great on me, but the sleeves do run a little long. The faux leather is unfortunately dry clean only. However, when the jacket forms wrinkles, I toss it in the dryer for a few minutes then hang it.
Blush and gray is a great color combination. I love mixing the two all year round, but especially when the temperatures dip, I cannot resist cozy sweaters and jackets. While I love longer, oversized sweaters, cropped sweaters are great too, especially for petite ladies! This one hits right at my jeans, which is a great length for winter. I like the funnel neck, since it’s similar to a turtleneck, but not too tight. This sweater has a swing feel with rolled hems and a wider bodice.
While Johnny and I were in Houston last weekend, we explored some new eats outside of our usual favorites. The Honeymoon Cafe off Main Street in downtown was absolutely delicious. I fell in love with the New Orleans French feel. The interior was so charming, beautiful and filled with light. We were some of the first people in the door Sunday morning so we snagged a table by the window. Johnny got the smoked salmon and I got the sausage and biscuit. They were both divine and I highly recommend!
