Styling Statement Pants :: Floral Wide-Leg Silk Pants

Have y’all seen Crazy Rich Asians, yet? If you haven’t, you’re missing out and I couldn’t recommend this hilarious romantic comedy more! Plus, it was so nice to see an all-Asian cast. The reason I mention the movie is these floral wide-leg silk pants make me feel like a Crazy Rich Asian! Don’t be too concerned, for silk pants these come at an attainable price point. When I first saw these wide-leg pants online, I knew I had to have them. It’s a collaboration between J.Crew and famous wallpaper designer Abigail Borg, who is known for her quirky, hand-drawn florals. This collection has me swooning. I actually got two pieces from this collection, these floral wide-leg silk pants and a shirt dress with pockets (blog post on this coming soon!).  Read more…

Yellow Crush :: Tie-Waist Pants & White Ruffle Blouse

I’m so thrilled yellow is one of the most popular colors this season! I have been wearing this sunny hue since I was a little kid and as a young teen, I gravitated toward the shade even more. It can be hard to find the right shade for you, but these yellow tie-waist pants are so flattering on so many skin tones! Plus, they are currently $25 off! First of all, the pants fit like a dream. I’m wearing size 00 Petite and while there is a little bit of room at the waist, the ability to tie the pants makes it the perfect fit. If you’re shorter than 5’4, the petite length should fit like a glove. On my 5’3 frame, these hit right above my ankles. The material is thick and high quality yet stretches and skims your body. Your legs will look so long and flattering in these tie-waist pants, promise!

Put a Bow on It :: Tie Waist Shorts + White Tee

Happy Wednesday Lovelies! I am loving these pink tie waist shorts and feel like you can wear them anywhere and with anything. Previously, I did a pink on pink look featuring these shorts. Now, I’m restyling them more casually. I love the cotton poplin fabric, which helps create that perfect bow! This material can wrinkle, but a quick steam or stroke of an iron will set you on the right track. Also, what I love about this outfit is it’s simple and basic. If you’ve got a white tee in your closet, you can recreate this look easily.  Read more…
