The Perfect Lightweight Sweater for Fall

Happy Wednesday Friends! Fall may be in full swing, but we still get touches of warm weather here and there. This camel lightweight sweater is the perfect piece to wear now and again later. It’s not too thick, yet the knit is super cozy. Plus, it’s super stretchy and fits like a dream. I’m loving the high-low silhouette, which is flattering on all heights, whether you’re petite like me or super tall. If you are like me and have issues achieving the perfect “front tuck” this is an easy way of getting a similar look without having to mess with your sweater for forever. A lightweight sweater such as this one is perfect for just throwing on and going out the door. There’s no fuss and you’ll know you look chic. I love a good camel sweater in the fall, but this lightweight sweater also comes in ivory and gray. Read more…

Mauve Super Soft Sweater Dress

I swear by sweater dresses in the fall and especially during winter. I think there’s something so feminine about wearing a sweater dress with boots. This mauve sweater dress with balloon sleeves is such a stunner. I love the high neck because you can layer cashmere tanks underneath for extra warmth. Plus, this sweater dress is super soft since it’s mostly acrylic fabric. The shift silhouette makes this dress easy and effortless to style. Just throw it on with booties or boots and you are good to go! I cannot recommend this dress enough, especially as temperatures start to dip. I’m wearing a size US 2 and this dress has a slightly oversized feel to it. I am thinking about maybe hemming it up an inch or two. That way I can wear it with over the knee boots! However, it’s also fine as it.  Read more…

Mixing in Fall :: Purple Balloon Sleeve Sweater

Happy Wednesday Y’all! While the weather is still fickle in Coastal Virginia, for the most part, things are cooling down. Transition pieces are still necessary for me, since some days it’s almost 90 degrees and some days it’s a crisp 60 degrees. This purple balloon sleeve sweater can easily be worn with shorts, skirts or jeans, depending on the weather. The color is incredibly eye-catching, yet easy to style. Balloon sleeves are a trend from last winter. However, they are sticking around and I’m really enjoying it. One aspect I really like about this purple balloon sleeve sweater is how the sleeve is cinched, so I don’t have to worry about it getting dirty or accidentally dipping itself into anything. This knit is ideal for fall because it’s not too thick. Even though it’s not wool or cashmere, it works super well as a transition piece. Read more…
