Fourth of July Outfit Idea :: Red, White & Blue

Who is excited for the Fourth of July?! Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays, so get ready for a few different red, white and blue looks coming up! I’ll be working on this Fourth of July but that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to enjoy it. Being a first in my family to be born in America, I feel so fortunate to call this incredible country hone.

Some of you may remember this skirt as part of a two-piece set I posted earlier. As I’ve said before, I love two piece sets because you can really mix and match the pieces later on. I’m restyling this fun polka dot wrap skirt for this Fourth of July outfit idea. One reason I love this skirt so much is what a statement piece it is. I feel like once I put it on, I feel chic. I’m wearing size XS and the fit is perfect. I really love the sash and bow, which adds a feminine touch.  Read more…

Summer Style :: Polka Dot Two-Piece Set

Hello, Everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely Memorial Day Weekend. While you are all enjoying the sun, tasty food on the grill and time with loved ones, please remember the true reason for this holiday. Memorial Day is to remember all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces. It’s to remember freedom isn’t free. Finding Americana pieces are always super fun for me. You all may know I have some pieces of patriotic clothing I adore, including my All-American Girl tank.  Read more…

Cable Knit Sweater & Paper Bag Mini Skirt

Hey Y’all! This is so crazy there are only a few days left in 2017! I’m so ready for 2018 to arrive and for all the exciting things I have planned. It’s much colder in Dallas than I had anticipated. I’m living in cozy sweaters so I love being able to tuck them into a cute skirt such as this gingham paper bag mini skirt. I love a good gingham piece for fall and winter because you can restyle them so many ways. This gingham paper bag mini skirt would be chic with any color blouse or sweater. Sadly, this skirt sold out. However, this is a super similar version and looks so cute on. The paper bag trend is actually quite chic if you pair it with the right item. I’m wearing size US 2, which fits beautifully. This skirt also comes in leather and suede. Read more…

Happy Friday! I seriously cannot wait to go home and see my family! I absolutely love what I do and love my work family. However, that doesn’t make up for being so far away from mine. I’m usually always away from family, which is why I love to decorate my apartment with tons of festive items. That way I have the Christmas spirit to keep me happy until I can get home. I’ll be working through the weekend and Christmas day, but I’ll be flying home right after! Plus, Dallas is so magical during the holidays so I can’t wait to see it for myself… Read more…
