Monochromatic Pink Fall Look

Monochromatic looks are some of my favorite because of how chic they are and easy to create. This pink monochromatic look is a one way I’m easing into fall. A monochromatic look doesn’t always has to be the same shade of the color. I love subtle differences because it can really make the outfit pop. This pink knit sweater has pom poms in the shape of a heart, which is quite adorable. This is a chunky knit sweater made of acrylic, so it’s perfect for fall and into winter. Acrylic is quite warm, but unlike wool and cashmere, it’s not as breathable. However, if you’re cold this is a great option. The v-neck means you can wear it off one shoulder for a slouchy look, too. Also, this sweater comes in white, lavender and tan.

Shades of Pink :: Pleated Romper Styled Up & Down

If I’m completely honest, I love all seasons, even winter. There’s something so refreshing about the change in temperature, scenery and overall feel. With that said, I am quite partial to spring because of pink and peonies. This pink pleated romper has such a flattering silhouette and is one of those pieces you can just throw on and head out the door. The fabric is a luxurious satin that looks beautiful in any lighting and will complement so many skin tones. I truly love the way the fabric drapes. Pieces with beautiful draping always have my heart, so this pleated romper is naturally a favorite. Of course, one of the aspects really drawing me toward this romper is how it looks like a matching set. There’s a blouson “top” and flowy shorts when it’s really all a romper!

Elegance :: Pleated Maxi Skirt at the Jefferson Memorial

I have had many moments in my life where I feel like a princess and this was one of them, thanks to Johnny. During our trip to D.C., we woke up super early to go Monument hunting. This way we avoid any big crowds and can get these awesome photos, ha! The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a must-see monument. The majestic and grandeur feel of the tall columns really make you feel like you’re almost in a castle. Plus, there is a beautiful view overlooking the Tidal Basin and you can spot the Washington Monument. I simply cannot believe this pink pleated maxi skirt is only $30! What a steal!
