Winter Warm :: The Best Winter Boots

I take winter weather very seriously, especially when temperatures dip below freezing! My Mom taught me when your feet and hands are cold, you will be cold. Before my first winter in Nebraska, I did plenty of research on cold weather gear. I believe I read hundreds of reviews on at least 20 pairs of boots. However, these boots are the best winter boots and I am so happy with them. Through bone-chilling temperatures, scraping ice off your car, trekking through snow, these boots will keep you warm. For true winter snow boots, these have a relatively sleek silhouette. While they look stylish, the 100 grams per square meter of insulation and fleece lining will keep your feet warm and happy. Trust me, through hills and more than waist-high (on petite me, anyway) piles of snow, these are the best winter boots. Not to mention, the rubber soles provide traction. Read more…

Blush Lace up Sweater + Pink Chanel

Happy Monday Friends! I’m a big fan of the lace up trend, so of course, a lace up sweater is one of my most-loved pieces for fall. This particular sweater comes in four colors, however, the blush is my favorite. The chunky knit and oversize fit make this lace up sweater a super cozy and comfy choice this fall. The lace up detailing in the back is the star and a nice surprise feature. Completely adjustable, you can make this lace up sweater as tight or as loose as you want. One of my favorite ways to wear it is with side off the shoulder. However, you can definitely lace it up a bit tighter to have it on both shoulders. Plus, this sweater is also on sale for less than $40! The hunter green is a nice choice, too.  Read more…

Pink Crush :: Velvet Skirt & Lace Blouse

This is one of my favorite looks of all time, shot in one of my new favorite cities. I’m mixing together two of my favorite pieces. This pink velvet skirt is something I reach for when I want to feel confident and beautiful. It’s the perfect mix of sexy and sleek while being elegant and chic. The fabric hugs your curves without being too tight. Plus, velvet is on trend this fall, so I have no doubts you’ll be seeing this skirt more. I previously styled it with a gray sweater here. This pink velvet skirt is perfect if you dress it up for date night or out with friends. I’m wearing a size XS and it fits beautifully. For care, I recommend throwing into the washer on the handwash or delicate cycle. Use cold water and to lay flat to dry, too. Read more…

Leaf-Shaped Lace Dress for Fall :: Greetings from Charleston

Happy Monday and October Y’all! Greetings from Charleston, South Carolina! My sister is visiting me for a few days, so we decided to take a road trip somewhere fun. Charleston immediately came to mind! Plus, the drive is less than seven hours, so it’s not too bad. I will be posting a full travel guide shortly and I cannot wait to share my favorite spots!

With October’s arrival, there is no doubt fall is here. This navy and pink leaf-shaped lace dress is a pretty pick for fall. The lace is beautiful and unique because of the leaf shape but also doesn’t catch or run easily. The navy collar gives this dress a polished-off look, which makes it office appropriate. Read more…
