Have it Both Ways :: Contrast Jumpsuit & Burgundy Coat

As a working woman, I try my best to look professional while still catering to my love of fashion and standing out. For this post, I’m partnering with White House Black Market to share some of my favorite pieces from their new fall collection. What I love about this collection is it’s full of pieces you can wear to work and wear to a cocktail party or out with friends. If you work in a more conservative office it can be scary to incorporate color into your wardrobe. I recommend a neutral approach to the bulk of your outfit while throwing in colorful accessories. This fall, WHBM has beautiful burgundy, port and wine shades. These will fit into your wardrobe beautifully and can be paired with other pieces for years to come.

Red Jumpsuit

This petite red jumpsuit was one of my favorite purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It also comes in black and is on sale for less than $90! What I love about this red jumpsuit is how it fits perfectly right out of the box. I’m wearing a Petite 0 and this babe required no jumpsuits whatsoever. I”m 5’3 for reference and am wearing 3-inch heels. While it is definitely a statement, I can wear it to work on certain days and totally get away with it.

Summer Outfit Idea :: Easy Wide-Leg Floral Jumpsuit

As a petite woman, I love when clothing pieces make me look taller. This purple floral jumpsuit elongates an incredible amount. Plus, it’s such a statement piece. At times, it actually looks like a maxi dress because of how wide and flowy the legs on this floral jumpsuit are. I’m not going to lie, the legs are extremely wide. However, the smocked top really balances it out. This is such a flattering jumpsuit and I couldn’t recommend it more for summer. The tie straps are adjustable to what you want, which is really nice. Also, the pants have pockets at the hip! Huge win, ha! If you are petite, be warned you may need to get this hemmed. However, I promise you this floral jumpsuit is worth it. I absolutely love the purple and how the white really pops off of it. This jumpsuit also comes in black and red, too.

Color Pop :: Orange One-Shouldered Jumpsuit

Orange you glad it’s Wednesday?! Couldn’t help myself with an orange joke when wearing this stunning orange one-shouldered jumpsuit! Johnny and I snapped these photos at Old Down Town Sacramento, which was full of so much charm. If you haven’t seen our San Francisco and Sacramento Travel Guide yet, please check it out, along with our VLOG! After brunch, I changed from this blue polka dot two-piece set just to get another outfit in. I’ve heard Sacramento has so many scenic places, especially in Old Down Town, I wanted to have another outfit to share with y’all. I’m really digging the wide-leg trend right now and this jumpsuit hits the spot. The color truly pops and I got so many compliments walking around Sacramento. It’s definitely perfect for traveling since it’s comfortable and easy to wear. Plus, you don’t have to worry about it slipping or anything like that.

When Life Gives You Lemons :: Lemon Print Jumpsuit

Happy FriYay, y’all! Sooo, Why did the lemon fail her driving test? It kept peeling out! Sorry, couldn’t help myself. I feel like I have to tell a bad lemon joke anytime I wear anything lemon print. However, how darling is this strapless lemon print jumpsuit?! It is the perfect piece to bring the sunshine wherever you’re going. I typically prefer items that skim the body more, but I’m loving the wide leg trend right now. Plus, it also helps when the weather gets hot. This fresh-squeezed number has built-in pads, so you can totally nix your bra! I love the sweetheart neckline, which gives this lemon print jumpsuit such a summery feel. One aspect I love is how effortless this jumpsuit is. Throw it on and head out the door and you are sure to make everyone smile wherever you go!
