Exploring the Best Views in Central Park

Hello from New York City! It’s been a bucket list item for years for Johnny and I to go to New York City during the holidays together. I have been several times before but unfortunately, he couldn’t tag along. This time, we are in the NYC for a good few days and are beyond excited to explore and check off some places we’ve been dying to visit! I’m partnering with Sole Society in today’s post to share some warm and comfortable pieces I’m wearing on my trip. Of course, you can’t go on a trip to New York without visiting Central Park. However, it’s quite vast and I want to save you some time. So I’m sharing the best views in Central Park and what I’m wearing to take in those views while staying warm.

Olympic Pride :: Team USA Gear for PyeongChang 2018

It is still so surreal to me. While you are reading this blog post, Johnny and I are on board a plane flying to Seoul, South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympics! You may recall I mentioned in this post this is truly the trip of a lifetime. As a former competitive figure skater being able to go to the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and witness history happen is indescribable. Johnny’s willingness to help make my dream come true makes me feel so loved. A few weeks ago, Bumble asked me to share what Love Equals means to me and I couldn’t think of a better example than Johnny helping me put together this trip. He knows how important going to the Olympics was to me and did everything possible to make it a reality. Love equals helping someone else’s dream come true

Evergreen Style :: Saltwater Duck Boots for Cold Weater

Hello Everyone! I cannot believe in Coastal Virginia we have a 60 percent chance of snow today! I love being able to get a little white magic every winter but am thankful heavy blizzards are mostly behind me. I remember being in Nebraska in what felt like -25 and plenty of snow. There is nothing I hate more than cold wet feet. I feel like it’s the fastest way to be cold all over and is an instant mood dampener. Over the years, I’ve worn numerous boots. However, these Sperry saltwater duck boots are some of my favorites. These are adaptable, so no matter where you go from rugged landscapes to snow mountains you will stay comfortable. One of my favorite aspects of these saltwater duck boots is the rubber sole, which provides traction on wet or dry surfaces. Trust me, there slipping and falling isn’t fun.
