The Perfect Bootie for Fall

Happy Monday! Fall isn’t set to arrive for about two weeks but these booties are getting me excited. If you are looking for the perfect bootie for fall, the Corsa bootie is your go-to. One aspect I love the most about these booties is how comfortable they are. Thanks to a low-block heel and soft oval toe, these booties will not stand in your way. Plus, there is no break-in period required. Right out of the box, I wore these babes and I was walking on a cloud. The side zipper allows for easy on and easy off. Struggling to get shoes on and off aren’t something I have time for. I’m wearing size 5.5 and these booties fit true to size. Whether you have a long commute to walk or need to be on your feet all day, these are the booties for you. Read more…

Fall Florals :: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Outfit

Happy Monday Y’all! This weekend was a busy one for me. Lots of blog work with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access going on, seeing friends and catching up on much-needed sleep! Shoutout to my blogger babe Maria Luke of Millenial Fashionista and her husband Parker, okay mainly Paker, for taking these photos of me!  We were blessed with slightly cooler weather, so shooting these fall looks weren’t as bad!

I know so many items are already sold out in the sale. Therefore, in this fall florals look, I’m focusing on items all fully in stock with multiple sizes available. This floral blouse has the prettiest ruffle sleeve details. I love this blouse because it’s perfect for work and wearing casually too. It has short sleeves, so it’s something you can definitely wear now. I love the darker tones, which gives it the fall florals look. When temperatures get chilly, throw on this cardigan for extra warmth. I love this coral color is a more affordable alternative to the ever-popular merino wool cardigan the past two years of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. While the cardigan I’m wearing above is 100 percent cotton, that’s reflective in the $32 price point. However, to make up for it, it’s available in six colors! Definitely snap this one up for summer nights or fall.  Read more…

Touches of Gold :: Balloon Sleeve Dress + Block Heel Boots

Happy November 1st! It’s no surprise I love sweater dresses, so I’m acquiring more and more. This River Island balloon sleeve dress comes in the most beautiful gold color. Mostly acrylic, this knit is a medium weight fabric and can keep you warm on crisp days. It’s cozy and soft to the touch, not itchy or uncomfortable. Of course, the balloon sleeves are my favorite detail on this dress. It adds a whimsical touch while being understated. Another detail I love is the inverted seam detailing throughout this balloon sleeve dress. It’s simple but really helps make the dress pop and gives it texture. When I was younger, I hated turtlenecks. I’m not quite sure what it was about them. Needless to say, I have grown out of that. Sometimes, scarves get in the way if it’s super windy, so high necks keep me warm. Read more…

Mauve Super Soft Sweater Dress

I swear by sweater dresses in the fall and especially during winter. I think there’s something so feminine about wearing a sweater dress with boots. This mauve sweater dress with balloon sleeves is such a stunner. I love the high neck because you can layer cashmere tanks underneath for extra warmth. Plus, this sweater dress is super soft since it’s mostly acrylic fabric. The shift silhouette makes this dress easy and effortless to style. Just throw it on with booties or boots and you are good to go! I cannot recommend this dress enough, especially as temperatures start to dip. I’m wearing a size US 2 and this dress has a slightly oversized feel to it. I am thinking about maybe hemming it up an inch or two. That way I can wear it with over the knee boots! However, it’s also fine as it.  Read more…
