Hello, Everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely Memorial Day Weekend. While you are all enjoying the sun, tasty food on the grill and time with loved ones, please remember the true reason for this holiday. Memorial Day is to remember all the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces. It’s to remember freedom isn’t free. We are able to enjoy time at the lake or the beach today because someone else made sacrifices for us. I love holidays where we can wear patriotic colors and be proud to be American. Finding Americana pieces are always super fun for me. You all may know I have some pieces of patriotic clothing I adore, including my All-American Girl tank.

This polka dot two-piece set is perfect for summer. I’m really enjoying two-piece sets because not only are they a great outfit but you can wear the pieces again later as separates. The skirt of this two-piece set is my favorite part. I love the wrap feature and the ruffles at the bottom. This would be so cute with a fun white top or even a red one for Fourth of July. Fit wise, I’m wearing a size XS in this skirt. I previously wore an XXS in this yellow two-piece from the same brand. However, I noticed it was just a dash too snug for my taste. Typically, I wear size 24 in jeans and 00 Petite in bottoms. The length of this skirt is also great. It hits above my belly button and isn’t too short. For the tops, I always get size XXS and they fit perfectly. The fabric is lightweight and easy to maintain. A simple steam and the fabric is wrinkle-free.
