Review:: Great Lengths Hair Brush

I spend money on some things, but when it comes to hairbrushes, I opt for the Conair or Revlon variety at Target. After years of being in pageants and using hot tools on my hair almost every day, I’m starting to care more about what touches my hair. This Great Lengths Hair Brush by Acca Kappa is amazing! It’s made in Italy and feels sturdy in my hand.

I was introduced to this brush by Lorie Newman, my hairstylist over at Wild Orchid Salon. Lorie has done some incredible things to my hair for pageants. And I trusted her when she said this brush is the best. The bristles massage my scalp in a very soothing manner, not harsh at all. I like to run this brush from my roots all the way to my ends a couple times to ensure I get all the tangles out and spread the oils.

Since this brush is originally for hair with extensions, it doesn’t pull or tug on hair when you run it through. It’s very gentle, but thorough in getting tangles out. The bristles are great at distributing oils through the hair making it soft and shiny. Not to mention the curved handle makes the brush very comfortable to hold 😉

If you’re in the Austin area you can get the brush from Lorie or you can get it on Amazon. I highly suggest this brush for it’s quality and functionality. I used to think all brushes were made the same, but I was wrong! Not to mention, during this blog post, I’ve stopped writing and brushed my hair at least five times since the brush is sitting next to me.

Thank you so much for reading! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
