Lavender Dress, TOCCA Maya Perfume c/o, Suede Heels, Pearl Studs c/o

When the season changes, I love to add new scents to my perfume collection. My newest addition is Maya by TOCCA, which also happens to be their newest scent. They graciously sent me this perfume to try and it smells divine! Before I dive into the notes making this beautiful fragrance, let’s talk about this stunning bottle. I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and the violet ombre bottle with the gold ornate topper is breathtaking. It definitely stands out on my dresser since my other perfumes are in more neutral bottles.

Maya is the first woody floral fragrance for TOCCA and part of the TOCCA Girls collection, which reflects the personalities, styles and lives of inspirational women. Named after none other than Maya Angelou, the American poet laureate, when I spritz it on, I’m instantly reminded of my favorite quote of hers: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” My perfume is literally my last step before I head out the door and gives me an extra boost of confidence. When I spritz this on, I feel confident and bold similar to the iris, violet and black currant notes. However, I also feel ready to be kind and compassionate, much like the warm woody notes of this fragrance.

Purple is actually my Mom’s favorite color so I’m always on the hunt for beautiful purple dresses. This one is truly like a piece of art with how the fabric drapes. This particular long sleeve version isn’t available anymore. However, this dress but with short sleeves is still available in all sizes! I highly recommend it for spring since it’s work appropriate and would work for a wide variety of occasions.
