Happy First of October! I’m so excited fall is here and this past weekend, the weather in Coastal Virginia even cooperated! We got some crisp temperatures and it was divine. I wore this corduroy overall dress over the weekend and got so many questions on my Instagram! This is my second overall piece this season and I’m really digging the trend. This overall dress is retro-inspired but with some modern touches. The mini length is perfect for petite gals, I’m 5’3, and doesn’t require alterations. This particular overall dress dips quite low in the front, so it’s perfect for layering with your favorite top. I love this white stretchy off-the-shoulder top for a simple look. One thing I love about this particular corduroy is how stretchy it is. This dress is quite comfortable to wear and the sage green color is perfect for fall!

Y’all know I love accessories. To spice things up, I’m using touches of red to give this more of a fall look. These Bordeaux booties are quite comfortable and come in three other colors. These fit true to size, so I’m wearing my usual 5.5 with thin socks. These booties don’t come with a zipper, so they are quite stretchy for easy on and off. Lately, I’ve loved learning to style my hair different ways. While I love my classic big, soft curls, I’m trying to branch out a little. To give my hair more dimension since I don’t color it, I’m using my ombre extensions. To create this hairstyle, I simply gathered some hair from both sides, tied it together with an elastic and flipped it inside out. I did this process about three times and pulled it loose to achieve this look. To finish everything off, I’m using a satin scrunchie matching my booties.
