I’m a sucker for festive holiday attire and this tartan vest is no exception! This is the perfect Christmas plaid with hints of green, gold and blue on top of the sea of red. Plus, the navy blue velvet trim really makes this vest pop. What I love about this vest is it’s easy to throw over anything, yet thin enough you can wear it under coats. Whether you pair this with a striped turtleneck like I am here or over a cozy cashmere sweater, you’re sure to look chic. One aspect I love about vests is how warm they truly can be. Keeping your chest and vital organs warm, will keep you warm. This tartan vest is slim and lightweight, but truly really warm with its polyfill. I opt for just this tartan vest over a light sweater if temperatures are going to be warmer than 40 degrees.

Are you ready for the holidays? My last batch of gifts from shopping online is finally here and I cannot wait to finish wrapping! I truly love wrapping presents and making them beautiful with ribbon and fun gift tags. This year, I’m wrapping presents with the diagonal method and it’s blowing my mind! Using a simple math equation, you calculate exactly how much wrapping paper you need so there is zero waste! I can’t believe I didn’t find this sooner. Less waste means your wrapping paper goes further and you spend less money! This is going to be a long week for me since I’m off work Friday, but working Saturday, Sunday and Monday. However, it’ll all be worth it once I get to go home and see my family and Johnny. I won’t be home for as long as usual, but it’s nice to go home any time and get hugs!

Sucker for festive holiday attire? Count me in! I bought more holiday outfits than I can use this year. There is just something about the color red… Thanks for the wrapping tips. I am gift-wrap impaired! I am also math impaired, so we’ll see how my gift wrapping goes this year.
