Hello My Beautiful Friends!
It feels unreal Christmas is just days away! I remember the day I first saw this lace dress online (also comes in black). I was imagining all the beautiful places I would wear it, then I saw the price tag. While this isn’t the most expensive dress I’ve purchased by far (Big Red, my Miss USA gown and Ursula, my Miss Nebraska USA gown) it was expensive to me because it isn’t really something I could double up for work and weekends.
However, when the 20% off sale happened, I knew I had to get it. I wore it my first night in Vegas for dinner at Lago with Jonathan and I got so many compliments! The different pieces of lace and the texture is just ethereal in person. There is something so unique about this lace dress and it is eye catching. As said in the reviews, the hook and eye closures in the front do come apart. I really noticed this as we walked to the O Theatre. I did have the slit opened a good amount since I was in Vegas, so that might have made it easier. I’ve read you can tighten them with tweezers, so I’m going to give that a shot. Also, there is a decent amount of pressure or tightness when sitting down, but nothing unbearable.
If you’re looking for a beautiful dress to wear this holiday season and into next year, I highly recommend this dress. The material is durable, I don’t “baby” the lace and the fit is fabulous.
