Pink Pleated Maxi Skirt c/o (also in navy & more), White Ruffle Sleeve Blouse c/o (also in yellow and burgundy), Chanel Boy Bag (similar)
I have had many moments in my life where I feel like a princess and this was one of them, thanks to Johnny. During our trip to D.C., we woke up super early to go Monument hunting. This way we avoid any big crowds and can get these awesome photos, ha! The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a must-see monument. The majestic and grandeur feel of the tall columns really make you feel like you’re almost in a castle. Plus, there is a beautiful view overlooking the Tidal Basin and you can spot the Washington Monument.
I simply cannot believe this pink pleated maxi skirt is only $30! What a steal! It also comes in a rich satin navy, royal purple and a plethora of other colors. The pleats are beautifully done and this skirt really makes a statement. This pink pleated skirt has a straight silhouette but is very full, so if you want to twirl around, you’ll get that va-va-voom feel. I’m wearing size XS, which fits me perfectly in the waist. However, I will say the length is quite long. But this skirt is an easy hem job for any tailor. To keep the focus on the skirt, I am styling it with a simple ruffle sleeve blouse, which you may remember from this post with gingham shorts. Plus, it’s only $13, so that’s a great deal, too!
