Happy FriYay Everyone!
Today I’m sharing a fall beach look. I know Fall is officially here, but if you live by the beach like I do, your bikinis are still out and waiting to be worn. It’s still pretty warm, but we do get the dip in temperatures come evenings and then in the mornings. For now, I like bringing loose long-sleeve tops to the beach with me to pair with shorts. I’m not wearing pants just yet, but it’s nice to keep the cool wind off my arms.
This two-piece set is the perfect way to cover up and enjoy the beach before or after a dip in the ocean. It makes for an easy fall beach look. Made of 100 percent cotton, it’s breathable, but the sleeves keep your arms warm. Many tops for fall feature the bell-sleeve trend and this set is a great way to get more bang out of your buck. I can see this top with jeans and heels to go out for dinner or even with a maxi skirt and sandals. This is a crop top – on the model it is much higher up. On me, as you can tell from the photos, it hits right before or on the belly button. This set comes with the cutest elastic band shorts that are 13 inches in length. This set on sale in XS on Nordstrom Rack for only $25 – what a steal!
I love a good white bikini. I’m not sure what it is, but white and ivory look so classic and timeless. Plus it makes you look so tan and bronze. I love these scrunched bottoms. They are easy to throw on, do not move around and are so comfortable to wear. I also own them in black. Sometimes bikini bottoms call for constant adjustment – these do not. Once they are on, they are good to go. Plus, the fabric is buttery soft.
Monday Swimwear Clovelly top and bottoms (I’m wearing size small)
For Love & Lemons lace top, Thierry Lasry sunnies
Happy Monday everyone!
I know I usually post swimsuit posts Fridays, but when the brand is called Monday Swimwear, you have to post on Monday. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I had a blast going to the beach and getting some work done. I usually just bring a book to the beach when I go, but this weekend I brought my laptop and let’s just say my productivity radar was to the sky. Except for when the Blue Angels flew over, which was so cool to watch. Speaking of the Blue Angels, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I got an incredible opportunity to fly with them last week. I’ll have a full post on that coming up tomorrow, complete with video!
Monday Swimwear is a brand created by Tash and Devin, who you may recognize as A Bikini A Day. They are having 40% off a lot of their most popular swimsuits today, including this one. I fell in love with the Clovelly swimsuit for it’s sexy and supportive top with a deep v front. I don’t need the support, but I do like how it fits on me. The Clovelly swimsuit is Monday Swimwear’s most popular style and I can see why. It’s incredibly comfortable and flattering. The Clovelly comes in six colors including black, ivory, black and white, hot pink and peach. The bottoms are seamless with ruching in the front. They are fully lined and cut very cheeky. I looked up this bottom on numerous girls, not just Tash and Dev and it really does accentuate the feminine figure. Let’s just say Johnny was definitely a fan of this suit. Monday Swimwear uses the softest, most buttery fabric I’ve ever seen in a swimsuit, which makes it so comfortable and easy to wear. This is easily becoming one of my favorite suits!
Mix and match bikinis by Maya Swimwear:
Pink Rose Palermo top, Palermo Ruffle high-waisted bottoms, scrunch bottoms
Love Always sunnies and Ray-Ban sunnies
Happy Friday Everyone!
My love affair with the ocean continues and so does my fast growing swimsuit collection. I am starting to mix and match bikinis to get more out of what I have. Maya Swimwear is designed by indie Argentinian designer Carolina Dinardi and is a celebrity favorite because of their seamless, sexy and comfortable fit. The swimsuits have a very smooth fit and I can’t even begin to say how comfortable their bottoms are – especially the scrunch bottoms! The collection features classic colors for bikinis and some fabulous prints. What I love most about Maya Swimwear is how you can mix and match bikinis effortlessly.
I love the fit of the Pink Rose Palermo top. It’s very comfortable and it doesn’t accentuate what isn’t there if you know what I mean. On their website, I’ve seen girls with fuller busts wear this top and it looks equally flattering. The ruched detailing is great for girls with a smaller bust since it adds depth. Also, this top is lined, which I greatly appreciate.
For the first few photos, I paired this top with the Palermo Ruffle bottoms. These are high waisted and offer a seamless effect, which doesn’t grab at your bottoms or sides, so it’s flattering and comfortable. Trust me, no adjusting is needed and you are free to jump into the pool or swim in the ocean. I love high waisted bottoms because they add a bit of extra coverage and no sucking in needed 😉
To show how easy it is to mix and match bikinis, I swapped out the high waisted bottoms for the White Marble Scrunch Bikini bottoms. These are Maya Swimwear’s claim to fame. The whole bottoms are made of one piece of fabric, making it absolutely seamless. Like with the high waisted bottoms, they do not pinch your bottoms or sides, so your tush isn’t “squashed.” These bottoms offer less coverage and are a celebrity favorite. They’ve been spotted on Doutzen Kroes, the Olsen twins, Nina Dobrev and more.
