Hello my beautiful friends! I’m bringing you beach vibes in this turquoise off the shoulder bikini. It is no surprise I am loving off the shoulder everything. Of course, this bikini is no exception. I love the bright turquoise color, which makes me dream of waters the same color. I wish the water coming up to Virginia Beach was clearer. The top of the bikini and edges of the bottoms have a white-stitch trim. I love this extra detail and I think it makes the suit so so cute! Plus, who can resist cute bikinis?
The bikini top is so comfortable. The part going over my arms didn’t feel restrictive and is stretchy. I have a small chest, so I love bikinis and swimsuits that give the illusion of more. The ruffles add extra volume and therefore are extremely flattering. Also, this bikini is padded, so that helps too. While I do prefer smaller cut bottoms including Brazilian, these cheeky cut bottoms are very flattering. I did not feel the need to adjust while wearing this suit. Plus, it was comfortable and did not ever feel like it was riding up. That’s a big bonus, right? Most of all, the quality of the fabric really caught my attention. Almost all swimsuits are stretchy, but this one really reminded me of the four-way stretch fabric my figure skating dresses were made of. Not to mention, the fabric is extremely soft.
This adorable off the shoulder bikini also comes in a tropical print. If bikinis aren’t really your thing, there is an adorable one-piece swimsuit in this beautiful turquoise color, too! I found similar bikinis in hot pink, red and yellow, too. I hope you enjoy catching some sun in these!
Happy Wednesday y’all! My love for one-piece swimsuits is definitely growing. They have made a comeback and seem to be sticking around! While I still prefer bikinis, but this black off the shoulder swimsuit has my heart. Not to mention, this one-piece gives me very old-school, vintage, classy vibes and is perfect for the beach. As with all my other spring and summer pieces, I am loving anything off the shoulder. While I would not recommend this off the shoulder swimsuit for anything super active, it is a great suit for light activities and when you want to relax. A little beach volleyball shouldn’t be a problem, though! Of course, when it comes to one-pieces you can’t say no to tummy coverage (hello eating yummy beach food!). Plus, they can be elongating if you find the right one.
An aspect I particularly love about this off the shoulder swimsuit is the high leg cut. This really elongates the legs (who doesn’t like that?) but is not overly revealing. Some high leg swimsuits can be cut a little too high for my taste, but this one is a great medium. Since I have a small chest, I do not have to worry about coverage. Also, I do want to add this one-piece isn’t lined or have extra forms of support. On the other hand, the ruffles provide coverage. Plus, I have seen it on women who are more well-endowed than me and it looks great. Reviews say it runs small, but I am wearing my usual 2 in this brand and it fits comfortably.
Sizes are selling out in this suit quickly (it originally went on sale last fall), but I found an almost similar off the shoulder one-piece. Plus, it’s cheaper! Also, I’m linking some other cute one-piece swimsuits that are off the shoulder and have ruffles.
Living so close to the ocean shows me how much I really enjoy being at the beach. When the weather is warm, I love to go as much as possible – even if I’m by myself! Since I go to the beach more often, I love adding more swimsuits to my collection. This one-piece by 6 Shore Road is a standout piece whether you have your toes in the sand or are lounging poolside. Plus, I love the crossover halter cut of this cabana one-piece suit. It is unique and very flattering on. Also, the keyhole in the front and back add interest and keeps the suit from being too conservative. Of course, anything high-waisted is very on trend right now and for good reason. This cabana one-piece will really elongate the legs and add length to a petite frame. Now that’s something we all want, right?
Naturally, during the warmer months, florals are some of my favorite prints to wear. I especially love this Medellin floral print with plenty of blues, purples, reds, oranges and more. A perfect mix of tropical colors, this suit screams spring and summer. If you are heading on a getaway, I highly recommend this print. This cabana one-piece also comes in a slightly more subdued ivory floral print and of course, chic black.
This cabana one-piece is my second item from 6 Shore Road and I am very impressed with the quality and design. The collection is full of effortlessly sexy beach to bar styles easily transitioning from day to night. You can throw on a cute skirt or short over this one-piece and walk into a restaurant and look complete. Just like the Ocean Dress previously on the blog, this one-piece is playful, yet subtly edgy. It’s something you can wear from dawn until dusk and feel comfortable and beautiful.
