Caramel & Wine :: Paving Way For Fall

Happy Tuesday, Everyone! As you can tell from all the green in my photos, I am back home, in Texas!!! My plane right back was full of turbulence and prayers, hoping we’d land in Dallas on time since a thunderstorm threatened our estimated time of arrival. I can’t believe it’s already August and the Fall semester is starting soon. In honor of Fall’s rich colors, I created this pairing for summer with pigmented hues.

I also apologize for the slight blur in my photos. I had set the f-stop a little too low and of course, I don’t shoot with a tripod so the photos aren’t as crisp as usual. However, you can definitely see the inspiration from Autumn.

When I originally bought this coral resin necklace, I thought I’d only wear it during Summer, but after this pairing, I’m motivated to incorporate it into my Autumn wardrobe and perhaps even winter. When thinking of Fall, orange bronze, wine, and chocolate brown come into mind…and pumpkin pie. Luckily, these colors mix together quite well and aren’t hard to pair.

One of my favorite parts about Fall and Winter are these adorable bow pumps. Wine is a great alternative to black because it goes easily with neutral colors. Don’t be afraid to swap out traditional black pumps for rich wine-colored ones or investing in a handbag with a bardot hue. With Fall’s arrival just around the corner, you won’t regret it.
