Happy Friday, Everyone!
The weekend is here and tomorrow is my fundraiser! Afternoons in Dallas haven’t been as hot as they used to, so wearing ankle pants isn’t as stifling as it is past summers. These mint gingham ankle pants from Crew Cuts are one of my favorite pairs.

I’m not very good with waiting to wear newly purchased items and since this lovely Ann Taylor bow blouse was sleeveless, I deemed it appropriate for summer wear. This should works tucked into pants and skirts as well, but I wore it un-tucked today.

Tortoise shell sunglasses have been “in style” for quite a while, and I’m just now hopping onto the bandwagon. They look softer against my face than jet-black Ray Bans and compliment my colorful wardrobe better. I’ve temporarily bid adieu to my Tory Burch aviators (they broke in New York) but I’m thinking about getting a new pair.
